Adobe recommends that users update to the latest version to take advantage of security and stability improvements. Updates can be installed as described below.

Adobe Reader is now Adobe Acrobat DC. Version 15.0.0 was released on April 7, 2015, supporting iOS 8.0 and above. The new features include: Easily accomplish frequent tasks from the new Tools menu. About: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC software is the free global standard for reliably viewing, printing, and commenting on PDF documents. And now, it's connected to the Adobe Document Cloud − making it easier than ever to work across computers and mobile devices. The Acrobat DC product family introduces two tracks for both Acrobat and Reader, which are different products: Continuous: This track provides service-based tools as well as new features, security and platform enhancements, and bug fixes as part of frequent (and most often) silent updates.Over time, the Continuous track's update cadence is more frequent than the Classic track. Compare versions of Adobe Acrobat, including Acrobat DC, Acrobat XI and Acrobat 2017, and discover the value of an Adobe Acrobat subscription.
To install Adobe Reader and Acrobat updates from Adobe Updater, do the following: Tagr 5 1 0 grams.
- Launch Adobe Reader or Acrobat.
- Choose Help > Check for Updates.
- Follow the steps in the Updater window to download and install the latest updates.
- Open Reader and choose Help > About Adobe Reader. Note your product version.
- Go to the Adobe Reader Downloads page. The web page automatically detects your OS and Reader version.
- If the web page indicates that a newer version is available, choose Install Now.
- Click the downloaded file and follow the instructions.

Installers for all supported products also appear on the product download pages (except for the full Acrobat). You can download and manually install these products as follows:
- Open the product.
- Choose Help > About Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
- Note the version.
- Close the product.
- If you do not have the latest version installed, download the needed installer from the following locations:
- Adobe Acrobat updates for Windows

- Click the installer to start the installation process.

As of June 2019, Adobe is transitioning ongoing platform support and feature development of AIR to HARMAN. This will coincide with an Adobe-issued update of AIR, v32, for supported mobile and desktop platforms. Sizeup 1 7 3. Adobe will provide basic security support – limited to security fixes only for desktop platforms (Windows 7 and above, and Mac OS X) – for Adobe AIR v32 until the end of 2020. After that time, Adobe support for AIR will be discontinued and ongoing support will be managed by HARMAN and communicated by them directly. However, beginning with the release of AIR v33 by HARMAN, developers should contact HARMAN directly for AIR support on both mobile and desktop platforms – including bug fixes, platform compatibility, and new and improved functionality.
